2 to 4 times a year.
She does not mind getting the hiccups at all and it doesn't bother her
Mostly when going out drinking alcohol on nights out, but shes had the hiccups twice in the morning from breakfast and once after getting out of the shower.
They last anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour
No - When she gets the hiccups she just carries on with what shes doing, even if shes out in public, it doesnt bother her and she does try to get rid of them.
No - we have tried this a number of times, Rachel cannot make yourself burp, so we have tried a number of drinks that make her burp which that happens but no hiccups from it, we have also tried drinking a full bottle of wine as shes had the hiccups once from that but this has not happened again.
Only once when she had them for a long time, tried to hold her breath but this did not stop the hiccups
Quiet ones in public and loud ones when at home
Yes - she can do this very well
Her hiccups come from in-between her breasts, so putting my hand under both breasts is the best place to feel them, but also watching and feeling her belly button and neck.
Also watching her when doing fake hiccups from the back or side as you can see her belly move.
they are often around 5 to 10 seconds apart
