Rachel is now 38 and loves getting the hiccups, but unfortunately doesn't get them much at all.She only sometimes gets the hiccups when shes been out drinking, and its normally cocktail which give her the hiccups. We had gone close to 3 years without Rachel getting the hiccups at all (maybe 3 minutes of hiccups but that's it) But the other week she had a full bottle of wine, which after 2 hours gave her the hiccups for around 30 minutes, We were both very excited when she started to hiccup and i started to record them straight away. You can see how excited she is on the video. I was able to feel her chest and belly when she hiccuped, and wow they were hard and deep hiccups.
We tried to look for the wine which she drank, found it and she drank a bottle again but failed to get the hiccups again.
Rachel's hiccups sound amazing from the very quiet ones to the very loud ones, and shes not embarrassed to have them in public and doesn't really try to get rid of them. She enjoys the sound they make and how the feel, but they do start to hurt after more than 30 minutes. The longest shes had them for was after a night out drinking, we got off the train and she started to hiccup, they went on for around an hour. We tried to record as many as we could, audio and videos.
